The Hardest Pill

One of the hardest pills that I ever swallowed Was taken after a rocky road that I had followed, I had swore off on taking those pills But, up ahead I saw deterrents, pitfalls and rocky hills. I have taken that pill a couple times before I then swore to my soul I would take them more, Then I knew that again it had to be taken Or my soul and my mind and dignity would be foresaken. I then felt the pain and the hurt once again The symptoms brought on by shame, guilt and sin, It was a pill of truth, eyesight and honesty I meant nothing to the people, who meant a lot to me.
