The Immigrant Worker

Why do they hate them over here Why do they show them no remorse or care, but only fear, And why do they say they murder, rape and rob When they're just here trying to find and work a job. Why do they call them all those hurtful names Where myself and others get all the blames, Many are true God fearing women and men To support their family they do the best they can, Amen. Whenever I ever see them hereabouts They are not ever seen looking for any handouts, They are just looking for any honest work anxiously All that they want to do is to support their family. You'll never see then holding a sign begging for food Or begging for money which is no good, You'll never see them being lazy or acting like a jerk They're just looking for an honest days work. They will walk many upon many miles Just to pick fruit, build houses or even lay tiles, And they will help the stranger and even their neighbor They will do any-type of hard or manual labor. They will work the jobs that others won't And they will work the hard jobs that others say don't, They will work the jobs that others always refuse They will work the job without lies or an excuse. When you say and believe they come here to rob and to steal I then pray for your thoughts and your soul to heal, They are not all liars, or rapists or drug dealers or a thief They come here to work and help and not to bring grief. A number of our states have special labor needs Which and where all the hard workers proceeds, So, before you count the immigrant worker out You should take all of these facts into recent account. I believe what Jesus in the Bible told us to Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, And unto him that hits you on the one cheek offer also the other Love them as you would love your very own brother. So, this I say to the hard working immigrants down south I'm so sorry for the racists and the lying politicians with a big mouth, You are not lazy or known as a shirker You are the hard working and proud immigrant worker.
