The Wealthy Never Suffers

After paying my doctor and my hospital bills Then after paying for my groceries and all of my meals, I pay the insurance for my car, my house and then myself To survive, I need to work and to always stay in top health. But, it's always free when God heals. I pay my utilities and my taxes of course My paycheck always comes from just one source, 40 hours a week, sometimes more I must always work To continue this living, which the government says is a perk. Not only a hurricane comes by force. At the end of the year I pay my taxes as all Americans do But, why do I still owe more, that I still not have a clue, I work very hard just to make my ends meet Pretty soon I truly believe, I'll be living on the street. Horrific the stress we the middle-class go through I don't mind my taxes being used for the poor and the needy But, I hate them being used for the privileged and the greedy, I don't mind the taxes for my Social Security and Medicaid They are there to protect me, when in my golden years I wade. The eyes of greed are always beady. There is a better chance of me being poor than to be rich So, someday I hope not to be buried in a ditch, For a better education I once took out a student loan Why must we be the only ones always to ever worry and moan. To be wealthy and privileged that's the niche I try and I try to enjoy my life and my living Helping and donating to the underprivileged I enjoy giving, But, sadly we the poor, the middle class have all become buffers; The wealthy never ever suffers. I have now become the unforgiving. Randy L. McClave
