Today My Mom Died

It was a year ago today That my Mom had passed away, It is the day that my Mother died It was the day that I cried. This day I will never forget To that statement I will always commit, One moment she was at my side As we together took our very last ride. I remember holding tightly onto her hand Trying my best to help her stand, Then, I felt her slowly slide It was then up to God, to decide. I talked to her while she slept Then I just sat alone and I wept, The doctors and the nurses all tried But, today was the day that my Mom died. Randy L. McClave
