One day you will stop using drugs
But, your family will be heartbroken and sad,
Or one day you will stop using drugs
And then you and your family will be glad.
But, that choice will be yours all alone,
By that choice! you will be forever known.
Yes it is of course that serious and true
Your destiny is your own to follow and make,
It's up to you and no one else, but you
Please always remember that for goodness sake.
Life is full of hard roads that we avoid or chose
That's not a reason or an escape to use.
The question though will of course be this
When you take your victory seat,
When you finally find your sought after bliss
Will you still have a heartbeat.
Will you stop using drugs because your heart stop beating,
Or did you stop using drugs because you went to a meeting.
