We Are Ukraine

We are the people of Ukraine And as one we will stand, We will fight fiercely and then defend For our country and our land. We are patriotic men and women And our freedom at once we demand, This we tell you Russia Be very wary of the closed hand. We will patriotically protect our capital It will never be allowed to fall, If it becomes our reason to die Then we will become its wall. No man can ever be called a genius When over dead bodies his soldiers will crawl, This we warn you unwelcome invaders We are ready to stand up and brawl. In the morning we will pray To God and what is justified and right, Then we will all stand together In God's caring and loving sight. Then in the evening we will all worship To God and all of his might, And then later on in the evening We will all stand together, and we will fight. Randy L. McClave
