What They Wanted

Overtime pay will be no more It will be tossed and dragged and kicked out of the door, The EPA will also be gone Along with starry nights and the dawn. Tax breaks will be better for the wealthy and the billionaires And also for companies and their heirs, And who will be the one to suffer The working and the middle class and no other. Products will now be more pricey and high Because, of higher tariffs placed on the goods of an ally, Now our neighbors Mexico and Canada will raise their tariffs Which their foods and products are on our shopping lists. Social security will be cut for our retirement aid Along with Medicare and Medicaid, When they say their is a concept of a better plan Never will it begin, or has it ever began. Labor will no longer be protected Soon, it will be forgotten, ignored and rejected, And so long and farewell to the middle class From new laws and amendments that will pass. Next what we will hear will be project 2025 Who knows if we will survive Our country will be ravaged and then torn apart So, a new greedy and unconstitutional leader will start. Our economy will fall and all prices will raise You will still worship him, and give him your undying praise, To Trump supporters I'll say this undaunted You indeed got, what you wanted. Randy L.
