When He Is Gone

When he is finally gone I hope my family and friends will move on, I hope that their past won't return Is my main hope and concern. I hope that day in November They will then always remember, When the country will say, "No! not again" No more lies, hate, bullying or sin. I don't want to see his face anymore In the paper on the news or on any shore, And I hope never again to hear him speak Or to see his silly looking physique. I don't want to hear his name Or ever again hear his voice I will proclaim, I want him to just exit As if he never did exist. I hope my family and friends will see the truth I hope that they finally will become a sleuth, When they find out he wasn't a genius or a savior By his deeds and acts and his true behavior. I hope my brother will shed no more tears I hope my sisters will have no more fears, By believing a liar, a cheater and a con I constantly pray to God that they'll move on. I will forget all about him But, I will never forget the hate and ignorance and bedlam, That he support and nourished and it did grow Which he revealed in the people I know. Randy L. McClave
