Why I Won't Answer The Door

If I don't answer my front door I just couldn't wait any more, No need for you to knock or ring the bell That I wanted and needed to tell. And before you take another puff I figured out already I had already waited long enough, I was the good guy that you were told all about But, you had counted me out. I gave you whatever that you wanted And your feelings towards me were undaunted, You loved me you once did confess You were a really good actress. I truly am the last nice guy Because, I don't cheat, abuse, beg, borrow or lie, I would have treated you right And about you I would paint and write. No bad habits do I have or own I don't smoke or drink and my house I do own, No person would I have ever put in front of you Because, I wanted us to be two. You cheated, so you decided to happily leave me Now, my soul and my heart is spiritually free, You can now be with whoever you want to be with That is a fact, and not a myth. You have never heard me swear or accuse or curse No hurt or pain to you did I ever disperse, And as I think to way back then In no manners were you my twin. I treated you the way that you should had been treated But, you stole, broke promises and cheated, And you decided to be with others who made you feel sad And strangely enough, that makes you happy and glad. Now others are at my door excitedly knocking Unto none of them am I ever balking, I am the type of man that they are looking for So, for them I have opened the door. Randy L. McClave
