Your Debt

Always repay your debt But, never with remorse or regret, Repay it with a smile and pride Then you will have honor at your side. When something is ever bought or sold And if a debt on it is then owed, Your word and your honor will then be given And by that bond the action was driven. Do not ever be it's slave Don't take a debt you owe to your grave, If you do you will be remembered in remorse From your own actions and recourse. A debt is a liability to repay From which you can't ignore or walk away, Especially if it's a debt owed to a friend or a family member You might want to forget, but they will always remember. If you ever did beg and worried and did moan Because, you needed money for a loan, Remember to always pay it back happily and quickly Because if not, you will become emotionally sickly. They might be suffering now because of you From their own bills that might be overdue, But, you just give them your own excuses Only more doubt and worries it produces. This I will say to the borrower Always quickly repay your debt and never be a follower, Remember, if you can't pay it back then never borrow As that brings only regret and excuses and sorrow.
