Once upon a time
I thought the world was mine
But as I lived from day to day
I realized, it was not that way
All the things I thought were true
Were very soon out of view
All my hopes and all my dreams
Never was what they seemed
So my life has come to be
A disappoint ment for me
In many ways I thought it would be
A life lived in luxury
