Just Being Kids

Walking through the day You and I holding hands Doing the best we can In trying to understand Exactly what love is And what it's all about Trying to figure out the rules Trying to erase some doubts Being all of fifteen years old But, more confused than ever Are we supposed to be doing more With our new found endeavor? It's not that we feel something is missing But other friends keep asking Have you guys done more than kissing? Most times it's said in passing We like each others company We always have fun together The way we both feel right now We don't know how it could be better Besides, we're both way too young To think of doing anything more The way we look at life right now We're much too young to open loves door Sure we hold hands when walking We've come into each others life But that does not mean for a second That we plan on becoming husband and wife The rest of our lives are in front of us That's where it's going to stay We would not do anything right now That would ever take our futures away 1-6-19/RjH
