We hope a New Year will bring us peace Not just words from an empty speech Let's not point fingers and play the blame game Or the world could go down it flames The politicians unfortunately hold this key If the nukes were to fall there's no where to flee Let's hope this year brings us closer to peace So on living life we can all extend our lease I do have hope and feel we can achieve If we put our minds to it and all believe Every year gives us a brand new start It can be done if each country does their part Hate in the world will always exist It only goes away when people resist If all countries decide to fight That will turn out the worlds light 1-2-19/RjH
