Reflections

I hope you know I'll always care About what happens to you I'll always wish you great success In whatever you chance to do I know that our journey Ended years ago But some feelings that I have I thought that you should know Most times I express myself Better, with the written word I know that some things I write From me, will never be heard I always believed that you and I Would travel through life together I always believed that through the years What we had would only get better But I guess there were times I didn't say Things that I should have said Only now do I realize How much I really dread I miss the nights we shared together Laying side by side I miss the times of being close Sharing the love we'd never hide So much for me has come and gone Since those happy days I honestly do miss them In about a hundred different ways But through it all it's safe to say We've never reached the end Here we are years down the road Still, we remain friends 11-26-09/RJH
