Here I am left again
To sit here and wonder
Did she fall asleep tonight?
Or did I commit a blunder?
Did I say the wrong thing?
To go and make here mad
Or is she just feeling down?
Maybe even a little sad
I do hope that she is alright
I hope it wasn't me
Should I apologize?
Or should I let it be?
I'll wait until I hear from her
To see what she has to say
That way I will know
If we'll share another day
