When Relationships End

I lost at love before But I guess that's nothing new Most likely the same thing Has also happened to you You feel like your world has ended You feel lost and all alone No matter what you do You never feel at home At work you can't concentrate Because you can't hold a thought You know it will be a tough fight But a fight that must be fought You know you'll get through this You've gotten through things before But what makes this a little harder You heart has become a closed door It doesn't help to remember All the good times that you shared Even though some days were bumpy In your heart you always cared But as the years pass us by Some things just don't stay the same People as well as circumstances Will for ever change It's sad to see a relationship Come crashing to an end You only hope you can salvage Your heart, and maybe a friend (c) 6-16-10/RJH
