Like A Bird

Altın Yaprak
I was like a bird
With broken wings
Hurt so bad in a
Cold lonely valley
In the depths of
Nothingness I
Called for you
To rescue me
From my despair!
I laid motionless
Listening to the
Echo of my dreams
Then you came along
Rescuing me mending
The wounds with
Tender loving care!
I can fly again for
You lifted me on high
The journey has just
Begun as we take off
Together for the sky
Traveling into love
Everlasting leaving
The past behind!
