Taught By Life

Looking back over my shoulder, seeing the distance I've traveled in life, fulfilling it's purpose in poetry and music. Taking every experience and writing it into a poem, des- cribing the circumstances of a mere poet, never leaving out anything whether it's good or bad. All of it has taught me about life and other people, the thoughts of forgiveness, thoughtlessness, compromise and love, having a place within my being. Every part of life filling my heart with the beauty and wonder of what life has been and done for me throughout sixty-five years now.
