How great was this Country!
No more, No more, No more,
Who opened, the Gates
Of infamy and slander?
Who tore
It down,
Dragging it on the floor
Strangling its values
Institutions, kindness,
Its love of Liberty,
Who vilified it?
As never before!
All dignity gone,
All pride in goodness
Faked,
Are we asleep?
Or awake,
Who beat us down
With insultingly
Slandered
Uplifting nothing,
All goodness
Drowned!
In this once great
Country?
So, we would
Only want to speak
Of it unkindly,
And with a frown?
