Great Solitude

Altın Yaprak
We shared so many things,
And now it all is gone,
Like clouds blown by the Wind,
Like reflections in a pond.
How long was the wait,
How short was the bond,
Death doth separate,
Those that once were one.
Thus is the fate,
Of great solitude,
Somber the wait,
The ending, not good,
And no place to go,
And no place to hide,
And all you've got left,
Are your tears and your pride.
