A poem
To a poet
Sometimes
Means a lot
It's like,
An inner fight
That means so much,
The deep questioning
That wants to come on out
That wants to know
What is and what is not
The truth!
Above all the sullen rot,
It also, sometimes is
The total intimacy
Of a poet's life
That sometimes
Bleeds and cries,
And only occasionally,
Will slightly smile.
