Is Poetry a waste of time?
It won't produce a single dime,
Is Poetry still read aloud?
Is recitation still allowed?
Are poets living on a cloud?
Just to escape an angry crowd.
I know not what the answers are,
Poems seem something rare and far,
21st Century, misfits,
As our society falls to bits.
