What secrets does the Moon hide
On its non-luminous side?
The Dark One, the one we can't see,
Does it participate in controlling the Tide
Of the life giving Oceanside?
Does it whisper to the sky?
'No one can see me, no human eye'
Does it dream of having Light?
The light Love brings to darkest night,
Or like a vampire, is it content
With the darkness of a life secretly spent.
