Winter's Song

I know how you feel,
After all, I am you,
Maybe together, we'll get thru,
This Solitude, an open wound,
A deep black hole,
That swallows All.
The Poet dreams up silly schemes,
To cover up his solitude,
But Solitaire's, a game, beware,
That seldom is that good.
When love is gone,
What good's the sun?
Where should we look,
When love is done?
The sea is vast,
And so is pain,
My ship, half mast,
Looks for the dawn,
That did not last,
Love went so wrong,
And all that's left,
Is Winter's Song.
