I have a blank page again
I can write something
Why after all the years
Must I begin so tentatively
As if I have never written before?
I am old and slow and afraid
Perhaps it is all nothing
And I am nothing too
I am no hero
But I do begin again
Writing a few lines after all
Is not like a soldier body at risk in war
Old and cold
Slow and low
I go on and I go on
So so so.
