I walked and walked
And thought,
‘Maybe I'll find a poem in walking'
I walked and walked and walked-
No Poem.
But then I thought,
‘Maybe the walk is the poem'
All around me worlds of things
Green and bright,
A good day after all-
Maybe the walk is the poem
And the writing it down,
The stopping to listen.
