IT IS ALL TOO MUCH
It is all too much -
Too many words-
Too many poems-
Too much written about poetry-
It is all too much-
And yet what do I have in this,
But myself alone in a room with these words?
The endless ongoing in the search for meaning-
The endless hope for beauty in the making of these sounds
It is not words alone-
It is the heart and soul of what I am-
And perhaps that is too much-
Even for myself.
