ON THIS DARK COLD RAINY INDOOR DAY
On this dark cold rainy indoor day
I try in my own way
To see something I have not seen before-
Beauty comes easy to the eyes
And through the window
The glistening green of the leaves
Reminds
How even on the darkest day
There are suggestions of light
For those willing to open their eyes-
Light and life are one
We see to feel and feel to live-
Beauty against a background of darkness
Means the morning now
How good God is
To have given us sight
When we have green to see-
