This hour by the sea
A calm calm sea
Even in the slight haze
Of mid-afternoon
The peace
Oh G-d how good
it is to feel
the peace the peace
the distance
to be in all embracing quiet and rest
to feel the not too strong sun
and to not worry or cry or fight or fear
but to feel the calm
as all there is
in oneself and in the moment.
