Into the town called Eerie, I drove one fateful day. Badly injured and seeking help, That evening so wet and gray. I ventured down a tendril road, Through a harsh December storm. And passed a kid who stared at me, So strange so odd so not the norm. In the pub I saw what I thought was God, Warming Himself by the fire. The Devil sat and conversed with Him, About what I daren't enquire. Then deliriously found myself in a graveyard, So black and sinister I had to strike a flame. I looked down and saw a brand new gravestone, I stood there terrified for on it was my name! The graveyard wind howled, Secrets and forgotten dreams. For in this town called Eerie, Nothing is as what it seems...
