There's an eternal piece of music,
From a love story filled with tears.
Which today is a classic movie,
That never fades after many years
A majestic tragic love story,
Filled with drama and romance.
And a captivating piece of music,
To put listeners in a trance.
So lovingly called Lara's Theme,
Remembered by its familiarity.
Magical music of a woman in love,
Expressing her joyful serenity.
Julie Christie starred as Lara,
Omar Sharif as Doctor Zhivago.
Sharing love that'll never die,
For Lara's Theme makes it so.
