Ennio Morricone has today sadly passed away,
A true genius film composer with a great array.
He will be remembered forever as one of a kind,
With a vast music legacy so beautifully defined.
Maestro was the name so many addressed him as,
When younger supported his kin by playing jazz.
My own personal favourite he was top of my list,
And for many more Ennio will be so sadly missed.
'They're all my children... every score I've ever done.'
'I like to feel and understand people's contentment,
with what I've done.'
'I like composing music, but I love being with my family.'
Ennio Morricone (10th Nov 1928 - 6th July 2020)
Film Composer, Orchestrator, Conductor, Genius.
Dormi bene Maestro.
Perche ora sei il guadagno del Paradiso.
Ritocatta da Sergio,
il tuo vecchio amico di scuola.
E grazie.
