Gaze upon me, See my face. In my domain, Feel my embrace. Foolish heroes venture, Seeking vast treasure. Who'll never leave, My cruel pleasure. Men of stature, Become effigies. All never cured, By magic remedies. I am a monster, A gross Gorgon. One look from me, Your life foregone. The island Sarpedon, Is where I dwell. And I welcome all, With my fatal spell. My beautiful hair, Is many a snake. Spitting venom, In my wicked wake. I have two sisters, Named Stheno and Euryale. And they like me, Have a sting in their tail. So behold Medusa! For I am she. And all who have, I'll never set free. In the darkness I await, Here now all alone. Patiently for Perseus, Who I'll turn to stone...
