Builders come,
In all shapes and sizes.
Burly blokes,
Their trade symbolizes.
Finally here,
Work to be done.
Removing walls,
One by one.
Wooden floors,
No problem at all.
Carried out,
The new to install.
Stopcock off,
The sink now removed.
Replacing all,
With new and improved.
Kettle boiled,
A quick tea-break.
Biscuit's offered,
And a piece of cake.
Work resumes,
They just don't quit.
New units,
For a kitchen refit.
Cement ready,
For many red bricks.
Nearly finished,
They'll leave by six.
No problems,
Nothing to bitch.
Silky smooth,
Without a hitch.
Quality work,
That's second to none.
Well rewarded,
For a job well done.
