Dreaming Winter Is Past

. Winter is past At last! At last! Life has begun At last! At last! It's a beautiful spring day today. Gone is gloomy gray yesterday No more snow drifting around in silence most profound No more muffling to death all sign of life and sound No more rain pounding down on the town Nor dribbling down nor drooling down No more chill of wind no more howl of fierce fanged wind No more tossing-the-tree-tops-in-a-frenzy wind. Just a gorgeous blue-skied, sun-warming-our-back day A birds-cheeping-and-swooping day, a barely-a-whisper-of-a-breeze day! ! !
