As Night Falls Across The Land

As I open the window
I see the stars moving across
The sky at a leisurely pace
And the moon shining
Brightly in the middle draped
In a milky white dress
I see a meteor falling
Straight towards the earth and
Vanishes releasing a spark
I feel the cool wind
Blowing across valleys with a
Swishing sound in the dark
As I open the window
I feel the silence spreading its
Grip over water and land
Flames rise up from a
Bonfire as ghosts and witches
Dance on the river sand
