I have lived here for too long I have seen many ups and downs I have wandered around country sides I have visited many cities and towns I have faced jealousy and hate I have experienced love and care I lived a life full of losses and gains I ironed my dresses and combed my hair I have lived here for too long I have tilled lands and sown seeds I have grown trees and eaten fruits I have gone to temples to count my beads Now I have the earth as my bed And the limitless sky as the blanket I have lived my life in my own terms I have accepted coolly what was in my fate
