Down with Marx
Down with Lenin
They cried, in the streets
Spilling dark ambrosia
Of hatred all along their march
One has a piece of leg
One has the hand with
The fingers pointing to the sky
No more terrorizing
No more hunger
They cried, in the streets
Like a bunch of warriors
From common homes where
Hearths burn from borrowed rice
Down with Marx
Down with Lenin
There is no stoppage
The shops have to be shut
Whether you like or not
The trains have to be cancelled
Much to the agony of passengers
The procession must go on
It promises a new era
Of justice, tolerance and brotherhood
Tyres must be burnt on the roads
To block the traffics
There is nothing wrong
The inconvenience is short lived.
Down with Marx
Down with Lenin
