Altın Yaprak
A flock of egrets
Perched on a tall
Leafless tree look
Like stars in the sky.
Early morning it is
Bodies so still
Hold on to branches
Maybe sleeping.
Mechanism in feet
Enables ‘em to hold
Robustly at night
Miraculous indeed.
Nearby pond
Waits quietly
Inviting the birds
For rest of the day.
Fish stay relaxed
Excited to play
Hide and seek game
As day arrives.
Nature provides
Interesting activity
For one who likes
To keenly observe.
