Poet's Dilemma

Altın Yaprak
Jar of life
Stands upright
On the table that
We call 'The World.'
Jar's not empty
Jar's not full
Poet begins to wonder
What to write about.
All despair needs
An undivided attention
All the hope beckons
To be reported about.
All the sorrow asks
With a pitiful voice
All the happiness wants
To be presented with cheer.
All the suffering pleads
With a tone full of agony
All the pleasure states
With convincing ecstasy.
War in a part of globe
Keeps marching forward
Call for a lasting peace
Is heard elsewhere.
A simple suggestion
Lingers in the mind
Pen tends to be neutral
Summarizes as follows.
Write about the bad
To see that it'll vanish
Write about the good
With a belief it'll spread.
