Learn some patience
And the act of giving
From tree that stands
In the backyard.
Tree gives us air
The breath of life
And provides shade
To rest underneath.
In fall it sheds
Leaves for winter
New leaves of hope
Arrive in spring.
Flowers that bloom
Are delight to watch
And fruits in summer
Are so delicious.
Season after season
A torturous cycle
Tree undergoes
To give us comfort.
Let's do all we can
To protect the tree
The tree will then
Protect us all.
