Where the Children Used to Play By Uriah Lee Hamilton The immense lonely grief of death is rolling over everyone like the high summer heat falling in droplets of tears and sweat. I can hardly sleep at night listening to the thunderous silence of so much disappearance and absence. I want to go into the park where the children used to play and simply weep. but I walk alone onto the veranda and commune with the Iris flowers. 10: 30 PM 5-31-2022
