The man and woman met at a mall by coincidence Though a chance meeting, it turned out to be of great relevance The same sensation that once united them, they now had in exuberance But each felt shy to divulge it through frank admittance Days went on without any significant occurrence Both knew their hearts, growing fonder through absence Heightening their need for each other to live in allegiance Though visited the mall often, hoping to see perchance Every time, they failed through sheer mischance On a cloudy day when the rain started pouring down in great vehemence The lady lingered in the mall having no conveyance The man, spotting her offered a ride which she accepted with hesitance Between them several moments crawled by without utterance, Finally she mustered some courage to break the silence. In a tone of great regret she told, she was all repentance. The man conceded, most of his notions on marriage were sheer nonsense. They now realized, their failings in life had been through impudence They, henceforth decided to live together in mutual acceptance And never to torment each other through intolerance Instead of dropping her at her residence He took her to his house, which badly needed her assistance Now both realized that marriage is not one of convenience But more of concordance and coexistence, demanding great forbearance An enduring relationship, they knew, could be built only on mutual acceptance And could be sustained through mammoth levels of tolerance and compliance That night with the stars peeping and all anxiety kept in abeyance Their union was consummated in true deliverance (Thus on VALENTINE'S DAY, the couple got reunited in love)
