Simple Verse- Children- Gift From God

Bundles of joy dropped from heaven Holding enormous possibilities Acorns from which giant oaks grow The hope and light of the world The pride and possession of parents Adorable for their innocence Unmatched in directness Genuine and unpretentious Symbols of forthright candor Who do not stretch their lips Into awkward smiles Or utter sugar coated words, If they harbor any dislike for you or me Nor shed crocodile tears When they are joyous inside Alas, as they grow into adults Get trained in all tricks of the world! Guide and direct them in the right way Knowing they are the hope of the world And the priceless gift from God!
