A Tough Year

Signs of the time:
Terror, war,
Loose nukes.
People shaking
In their boots.
Folks living in a car,
Making due
With where hey are.
Tent cities.
Handout lines.
Economy on
A decline.
Businesses
Closing up.
States going
Bankrupt.
The year of
Two thousand nine
Really saw
A rough time.
