Chronicles Of A Restless Midnight

Very active brain waves.
Faint music in the near distance.
Downed routine meds.
Mental images of thoughtful visits.
Winds of inspiration blowing;
Penned numerous poems-
An activity calming to my spirit.
Light off. Slept.
Light on. Penned more poems.
Light off. Deep thoughts.
Light on. Penned more poems.
Pulled the plug on inspiration.
Finally slept.
