Coats Are A Covering

Coats are a covering-
Protection for the body.
Some are becoming,
And some quite gaudy.
They come in all sizes-
Large, medium, small.
And there is a coat
To fit us all.
Old coats.
New coats.
Borrowed coats.
Blue coats.
And during winter-
When it's cold-
We’re grateful for a coat,
New, gaudy or old.
