That a clock
Embodies “time.”
A ticking clock
Seems to sing—
There’s a time
For everything.
Time to rise,
Time to lay.
Time to meet
Another day.
Time to work,
Time to rest.
Time to know,
Time to guess.
Time to speak,
Time to hush.
Time to linger,
Time to rush.
Time to fast,
Time to eat.
Times of loss,
Times of feat.
Time to laugh,
Time to cry.
Time to live
Time to die.
The ticking clock
Seems to sing—
There’s a time
For everything.
