You Have Swallowed Me

I am insane Intoxicated with your love. My thought dances from one end To other. Sometimes I feel You are in my embrace And I am kissing you. Softly. Then wildly. And you are closing your eyes Being fulfilled with gift of love That I give you. And sometimes I stretch my arms To hold you in my arms But I do not find you there. My arms embrace piercing emptiness. Then my heart throbs Soul screams. I am falling apart both within And outside. My joy and sorrow Dances like light and shadow. And I cannot stop myself Thinking you Dreaming you. You are always there with me. As if you are a curtain In front of my eyes Covering every being and thing of this universe Except your smile. And I wonder If you are so little How could you hide an entire universe? How could you make this universe non existent With your existence? Am I living? I do not know. What I know is I am dissolved in your existence And no matter how much I fight I cannot separate myself from you. You have swallowed me o love You have swallowed me. © Arun Maji
