I saw a ghost
behind my brother's eyes
and I knew what it meant
a ghost can't plainly see the world
for it lives in between
the earth and sky
so when that ghostly fog appears
I know that vacant
empty stare
I know just what is going on with me
I know I can't deny
I am a ghost
